February Ministry Update

Greetings from Amsterdam,

One thing we can count on in life is change. Have you ever heard the saying, “The only constant thing in life is change”? Certainly there is the hope that “change” will bring growth and development into a life or situation.

I invite you to pray for three areas of ministry I’m involved with here in the Netherlands, which are undergoing a change or development.

Corrie ten Boom House Ministry

This spring we are praying for 2000 schools in the Netherlands to adopt the newly released Corrie4Kids program. In mid-January a learning packet was sent to all the Christian schools with the hope that they would include this program in their curriculum to use during the Liberation celebration. May 5th, 2015 marks the 70th year Anniversary of the Netherlands being liberated from the Nazi’s after 5 years of occupation.

The learning packet materials include a full color magazine ‘Corrie!’, a digital blackboard, DVD, a student workbook and a teacher’s guide. If the schools adopt the program they can go to the website (www.corrie4kids.nl) to order materials for all the children.

Please pray that the schools will adopt the Corrie4Kids curriculum and that the children will understand the great plan God has for each one of them through His love and forgiveness. In addition, pray that the children would be positively influenced by the story of Corrie ten Boom and what she and her family stood for, especially during WWII.

Amsterdam50 Leadership

Prayers are needed for wisdom and guidance for the Pastor selection committee and that God will provide the ideal candidate to continue moving the Amsterdam50 Body of Christ forward in making disciples through our vision of Knowing Jesus, Becoming like Jesus and Making Him Known. The hope is to have a new Pastor by the end of 2015.

Also, please pray that during the ongoing leadership transition: that each person would be shepherded, protected, and led by Spirit in the process. In addition, pray that each member continue to grow and develop as a follower of Christ resulting in the love of Christ shining brightly all around Amsterdam.

Finding Your Gift Path

It has been a delight to spend time with two ladies over the past 6 weeks who have desired to learn more about the purpose God has for their life and more specifically how to live out who God has called them to be through using their gifts and talents. Our “Finding Your Gift Path’ study will be finished by mid- March.

Please pray for Nancy and Jasmine that the Lord will bless them abundantly with an understanding of their Ministry Passion and how to specifically use their gifts to bless the Body of Christ, grow God’s Kingdom and bring Him glory.

Thank you for your prayers and support of this ministry.

United with you for His Kingdom purposes,
